OTHER INFORMATION

Each employee has three days off to take at any time during the season.  If these are not taken, a bonus of $150 per day will be added to the minimum pay

Each employee will be paid double time for every hour exceeding 60 hours in a given work week. In addition, any employee who works more then 60 hours during a given work week, will not be required to work any further unless interested in making double time pay.

We work on a piece rate system-you will get paid the budgeted hours for each job (as stated in the employee agreement) regardless of how many hours it takes a crew to complete it.  Any under budget hours will be paid at overtime wage.

Note: If an estimate is significantly miscalculated, we will compensate the painters and foreman for their time, however this rarely happens, perhaps 1 in 100 go over budget because of an estimators error.  It is in our best interest to not miscalculate the time it takes to complete painting project (the company does not make money when a painting project is bid inaccurately).
